Next article Using JHAT to automate HFM tasks

  1. Hello
Has anyone upgraded to HFM latest patch and using Task Flow and Data Extract functionality.
We migrated from 11.1..2.2 to 11.1..2.4 and are noticing that Task Flow and Data Extract takes 4x the time to run and sometimes it crashes the server and sometimes it will just fail.

    • Hi Azmat,

We have migrated many of our customers from various HFM versions to the latest one, and haven’t observed this kind of behavior, including the latest PSU 205. The performances are mainly better in compare to the old versions. Maybe a setting or hardware issue…
HFM needs much CPU an RAM in

      Kind regards,

  2. Hi,
I need to determine how far back in versions my company is with regards to HFM. We are using version

Does anyone know where I can find this information ?

    • Hi Daniel,

HFM has been release in 2012, 5 years ago.
This was the first version to use the new HFM Java UI, with poor performances regarding the last version (, february 2015).
I can only advise you to upgrade to the latest version to take advantage of up-to-date softwares and middlewares running HFM, better performances and stability ,and full Oracle support with product enhancement.
      Upgrade from to is easy.

      Kind regards,
