How to restart an Oracle PBCS/FCCS instance using EPM Automate

If you use Oracle PBCS or FCCS instances, you can restart it by yourself using EPM Automate tool.

Please follow the following steps to restart the instance.

  • Download the latest version of EPM Automate

To do that login to your PBCS Service:

From standard UI:

Click on Tools -> Install -> EPM Automate

From simplified UI:

Click on Download, then click on Download for Windows (if your OS is Windows):


  • Install EPM Automate

Run EPM Automate.exe

Click on Run anyway:

Click OK then finish:

Open Command Prompt then navigate to the install Location.

Example: CD C:\Oracle\”EPM Automate”

  • Login to EPM Automate

To do this use the following command line:  epmautomate login username password/<password file> url identitydomain

Example: epmautomate login username password https://myservice-my_domain.pbcs.us2.oraclecloud.com my_domain

  • Restart Oracle PBCS or FCCS instance

To restart the PBCS instance use this command:

epmautomate resetservice “put your comment here”

Wait until the restart is done:
